Jordanian Business Laws is the leading source of information on Jordanian business laws and regulations in English. It contains more than (200) two hundred laws on every aspect of business covering inter alia intellectual property, commercial, investment, transport, dispute resolution matters. Many of these laws are now available in English for the first time. Said laws have been updated to include all known amendments as of the date of the release of this website.

The files containing the text of the laws are in an accessible format for reading and printing purposes.

The laws included in this website were selected based on their relevance and usefulness to businesses and potential investors. The database will be updated and expanded regularly to include latest developments and amendments which might affect the relevant laws.

Background

This website and the English language translation of these laws were created by Jordanian Center for Dispute Resolution (JCDR) and Computer Networking Services (CNS) with a grant from U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID)-funded AMIR Program.

The ultimate goal of the website is to eventually accommodate all key Jordanian legislation, building an indispensable source of legal information in Jordan.
