The AMIR Program

The AMIR Program is an innovative economic opportunity project in Jordan funded by USAID implemented in partnership with the Jordanian private sector and government. The program’s objectives are to create broad-based, market-oriented growth and expanded investment to improve the living standards, economic opportunities, and prosperity for all Jordanians.

In partnership with the people and government of Jordan, the AMIR Program is creating a globally recognized Jordanian economic success story through its work on five major initiatives:

• Enhanced Competitiveness Initiative

• Financial Market Development

• Information and Communication Technology Initiative

• Private Sector Policy Initiative

The program awards grants to supports innovative projects, empowering Jordanian organizations to promote economic opportunities for all Jordanians.
